Just to highlight to you some happenings over this weekend, Singapore Drumfest and Official Event Partner *scape is having a Drum Fest community-bonding Drum Circle Event @ *scape Youth Park.

Over the weekend of 7 & 8 June, join the group of drummers as they share the joy of drumming and embark on a “Pied Piper style” drum parade from the Orchard MRT area to *scape Youth Park.
 
Starting at 6:00pm, the drummers joined with cheer leaders will enliven a festive atmosphere with their rhythmic beats, engaging and encouraging passers-by and non-drummers to join them in this parade. Estimated to be about 2 hours, the entourage will end up at *scape at 7:00pm, following which, a “drum circle” will start. There is no cost needed to join this Drum Circle.
 
Typically, people gather in “drum circles" with others from the surrounding community. Its for everybody, not just drummers. No Age Barriers. The main objective is to share rhythm and get in tune with each other and themselves. Another main motivation is also drumming for health & happiness. This is achieved as participants form group consciousness,  sharing the benefits of music and wellness during the “drum circle” activity at *scape.  
 
I will be joining in the “drum circle” activity on 07 June.
