“I Can Do It. Seize Every Opportunity” Sharing By A Parent Apple Wong (9:30AM - 11:30AM)
Do you run out of ideas to motivate your child? Do you sometimes feel like giving up? Or perhaps you may think: can my child take care of himself/herself?Many times, I feel discouraged and am tempted to throw in the towel too. Do you know what keeps me going? It’s my daughter’s progress. What warms my heart too, is how little Li-Ann encourages herself, “I can do it!” YES! Your child can do it. So can you. Because every opportunity is an opportunity to learn. I hope to share with you video snippets of the activities that I do with Li-Ann - to aid her in her motor development and also to teach her independence, so you can tap on the ideas and help your child reach his/her potential. Don’t underestimate our children. Let’s seize those opportunities! You can do it! About Apple Wong Apple Wong is married to a very supportive husband, Teoh Chee Meng and they are blessed with three beautiful children, John (10 years old), Rebecca (7 years old) and Li-Ann (5 years old). Little Li-Ann has Down syndrome. Apple home schools all her children. DSA Members: Free; Non-DSA Members: $20. Seats are limited.
